John-richardson.net will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. At the moment the data we collect is limited to your name and e-mail address. If/when you become a client we may hold further information if it’s required to provide services to you – such as contact details for invoicing.
Why we need your data
We need to know your basic personal data in order to respond to your queries and to correspond with you on an ongoing basis. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide services to you.
What we do with your data
All the personal data we receive is processed by our director, John Richardson exclusively and will not be shared with any third party for any purposes other than to provide services to you. The third party tools we use, and which may hold your data are as follows:
- Google Analytics
- In order to be GDPR compliant Google have included a data processing amendment.
- The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements; this retention period may extend past the point at which you close your account.
What are your rights
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated. [email protected]
